Animated Lizard

History

Curt Connors was a gifted surgeon who went into a war to help his country. He performed "meatball" surgery on wounded GIs, but his arm was injured in a blast and had to be amputated.
He eventually became obsessed with uncovering the secrets of reptilian regeneration, and studied reptilian biology extensively. From his home in the Everglades, he finally determined a serum taken from the DNA of a reptile.
Unwisely, Connors ingested it, and his arm did indeed grow back. Unfortunately, it had one side effect: Connors was subsequently transformed into a reptilian monster.

The Lizard has been evolving over the years. What began a a simple reptiloid form soon mutated to become far more reptile like, and as his body changed, so did his mind. The lizard is savage, predatory, and has a berserker rage that takes him in battle. He may or may not be as intelligent as a man, but he is certainly cunning and vindictive.

Powers

The Lizard has superhuman strength (enabling him to lift/press 12 tons), speed, agility, and reflexes equaling that of Spider-Man. He possesses great resistance to injury surpassing that of humans in that his tough scaly skin is more resistant to being lacerated or punctured by concussive force. The Lizard can also regenerate damaged areas of his body, even to the extent that he can regrow his limbs and tail if severed.

In addition to this, the Lizard's tail is superhumanly strong and can whip at up to 70 miles per hour. He can scale walls almost as well as Spider-Man can, and can excrete violance inducing pheremones from his pores.

The Lizard is seven feet tall and 20 feet long, and he spends a great deal of time lurking in the sewers, feeding on rats, snakes, and maintance men.
