Mermaid

My own interpretation of the classic mer-woman. It owes a good deal to Tony Diterlizzi's Spiderwick designs, but I've actually been playing around with similar ideas for a while. Tony just did it better. I tried for a more fishy look as opposed to the classic fantasy one. I enjoy mixing up various fish, and so there's little bits of different marine life to her. I'm also rather proud of the inking here as well.
This is a tattoo design. I find it deeply unlikely that they'll ever get the thing; but hey, miracles happen.
I was going to color this, but right now I honestly can't be bothered.
